When you take out a payday loan, you are responsible for the debt. You cannot take out a loan and shift responsibility for the loan to another party without that person’s permission. However, you can give the money from a payday loan to another person. You are however still responsible for repaying the debt.
When we issue a loan, we typically requires that the borrower provide a checking account number, this is so the company can make a direct deposit into your account and to verify if it does exist. When the loan comes due, it extracts the amount owed from this amount.
However, even though you can use a relative or friends account to receive the money from the payday loan company, you cannot legally authorize the lender (us) to withdraw money for repayment of the debt from an account that is not yours.
